Mammography Technologist - PRN

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing, developing, and evaluating routine to complex breast images in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Conduct mammography tests, assist with biopsies and localizations, ensure image quality, and maintain documentation in the Radiology Information System. Assist physicians with special procedures, perform quality control checks, and manage equipment maintenance needs. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and communicate procedures effectively. Supervise and train Radiology students, promote process improvements, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Stay current with industry advancements through seminars, journals, and maintaining certifications. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least two years of mammography experience or trained through an approved program. Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas and hold ARRT Advanced Certification in Mammography. Current BLS CPR certification. Skills: Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and advanced computer skills. Ability to instruct, lead, and perform complex positioning to meet quality standards. Effective team player with patient-centered approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
