RN - MedSurg/Tele

Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

This is a 16-week contract position.

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours per week available with the requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Join our team in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC) which consists of 36 beds dedicated to providing exceptional care to elderly patients. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and support daily operations within the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Care of Elderly and Alternate Level of Care Unit.
• Administer medications and perform assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using EPIC.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and healthy practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification required.
