FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Monday - Friday Position Summary The Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health is an integral part of a multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health clinic setting. This role supports patient care coordination with a customer-service mindset and professional diplomacy. The Medical Assistant will engage with patient customers while working closely with the clinical team to provide excellent customer service and patient care. Responsibilities Perform direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area, assisting medical staff with patient care and follow-up Utilize knowledge toward the integration of available standards, resources, and data Assist with office duties as needed, applying discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy toward excellent office and patient care management Partner by implementing a service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities Effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to work duties Requirements Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) Current BLS Certification One (1) year of clinic or hospital experience preferred About Greater Lakes Mental Health Greater Lakes Mental Health is part of MultiCare's Behavioral Health Network, serving more than 10,000 individuals across Pierce County each year. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.58 - $35.71 USD. Pay is influenced by factors including skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
