Compensation: $22-$30, experience minimum 2-3 years of experience.

CEI Technician with experience and NCDOT Certifications

Certifications Preferred:

• Conventional Density Technician
• Concrete Field Technician
• Intro to Asphalt Pavements
• QMS Density Gauge Technician
• QMS Roadway Technician
• QA Chemical Stabilization Technician
• ABC Sampling Technician
• Borrow Pit Sampling Technician
• ABC Nuclear Density Technician

Description:

• Assist and perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials during roadway construction.
• Communicate with project manager, senior technicians, contractor's representative and others as applicable regarding observations and results.
• Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily transmittal.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, contract specifications, apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, and/or weekends, as required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and shake up to 20 pounds.
