Mobile Fleet Technician
Push & Pull Auto Body is expanding and actively hiring a Mobile Fleet Technician to perform on-site repairs for commercial trucks and trailers. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay, uncapped overtime, and a monthly repair commission plan that rewards productivity and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities include performing mobile diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial fleet trucks and trailers; servicing trailer components including brakes, suspension, landing gear, air lines, electrical systems, and light body repair; diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, emissions systems, cooling systems, exhaust, DEF systems, and drivetrain components; conducting preventive maintenance and ensuring DOT and safety compliance; communicating clearly and professionally with customers on-site; operating and maintaining a fully equipped mobile service truck; accurately documenting services performed using mobile or written logs; and maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and safety.
Qualifications include four or more years of diesel and or trailer repair experience; strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, air systems, and electrical; ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs in the field; strong customer service skills and clear communication; valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus; self-motivated and able to manage daily workload independently.
Benefits include pay ranging from $28 to $37 per hour based on experience, 5 percent monthly commission on total repairs completed, no cap on overtime, Monday through Friday schedule with consistent hours, fully outfitted mobile repair vehicle provided, medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, career advancement opportunities and annual performance reviews, and a supportive, team focused culture.
