The Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft-based business solutions, enterprise applications, workflow automation, and system integrations across SCN BestCo’s manufacturing and corporate environments. This hands-on technical role serves as a key resource for the organization's Microsoft business platforms, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics CRM, and related enterprise applications. The Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer partners closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, vendors, and IT leadership to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, automate processes, improve data accessibility, and deliver scalable technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. Success in this role requires a combination of strong expertise in Microsoft technologies with experience supporting enterprise applications and business process automation in a manufacturing environment. The Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer plays a critical part in the ongoing evolution of SCN BestCo's application landscape, including support and enhancement of AMAPS, integration of business systems, development of workflow solutions, and implementation of modern collaboration and productivity platforms. The position is expected to balance day-to-day operational support with continuous improvement initiatives, platform governance, and strategic solution delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for the AMAPS platform, supporting system stability, enhancements, integrations, modernization initiatives, and business process improvements.
• Design, develop, implement, support, and optimize business solutions using Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Dynamics CRM, and related enterprise platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver practical technology solutions that provide measurable business value.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, manufacturing systems, cloud services, databases, and third-party solutions.
• Build and support automated workflows, APIs, connectors, data exchanges, and business process automation solutions across the organization.
• Support and enhance enterprise applications including AMAPS, CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other business-critical systems.
• Administer and support SharePoint Online environments including site architecture, permissions, content organization, metadata management, governance standards, and user enablement.
• Support Power Platform administration, solution lifecycle management, environment management, security, deployment processes, and governance practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, workflow, reporting, and data-related issues across multiple systems and business functions.
• Collaborate with business leaders, operational teams, vendors, and IT colleagues to deliver reliable, scalable, and supportable technology solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process maps, solution designs, support procedures, training materials, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automate manual processes, enhance data quality, reduce risk, and improve user productivity.
• Participate in the evaluation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of new technologies, application enhancements, and enterprise initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to team members, business users, and citizen developers.
• Support project delivery activities including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, training, user acceptance, and production stabilization.
• Participate in after-hours support activities as required to support critical business operations and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps for assigned enterprise platforms and recommend future enhancements, modernization opportunities, and technology investments.
• Partner with software vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders to manage application lifecycles, support relationships, and solution delivery.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft and enterprise technologies and recommend opportunities to improve business capabilities, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Support the development and enforcement of application governance standards, platform policies, architectural guidelines, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business information systems, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 7 years’ progressive professional experience supporting enterprise business applications, Microsoft technologies, business systems, solution development, and/or enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, operations, or other production-oriented business environments.
• Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing business processes, and translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Experience supporting or integrating enterprise applications, manufacturing systems, ERP solutions, business intelligence platforms, databases, or workflow automation technologies.
• Experience working directly with business users, operational leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused technology solutions.
• Experience managing projects or technical initiatives through requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, training, and production support.
• Experience creating technical documentation, process documentation, training materials, support procedures, and user communications.
• Experience working with SQL, reporting tools, data modeling, data analysis, and data quality management.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Entra ID, and related Microsoft business services.
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and low-code application development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application integration concepts including APIs, connectors, data flows, web services, and business process automation.
• Knowledge of SharePoint administration, site architecture, permissions management, content organization, governance, metadata, and document management best practices.
• Demonstrated understanding of operational business processes and the ability to effectively partner with front-line employees, supervisors, and business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and deliver technology-enabled business solutions.
• Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory management, production, quality, warehouse, and operational business processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise business applications including ERP, CRM, manufacturing, quality, reporting, and document management platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure services, Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-based technologies.
• Ability to gather business requirements, evaluate operational challenges, and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance operational support responsibilities with project-based work and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or multi-site operational environments.
• Experience with EDI transaction processing and integration workflows.
• Experience supporting enterprise integration initiatives involving JDE, AMAPS, NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Familiarity with Azure integration services, Power BI, or enterprise reporting platforms.
• Experience with application modernization, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience serving in a technical lead, solution lead, or senior applications role.
• Exposure to enterprise application architecture, data governance, or systems standardization initiatives.
