Job Description The Software Engineer?is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support this organizations' Healthcare segment, Carbon Stop Loss Solutions. This includes operations from policy management and claims processing to customer service and data analytics. This role requires an individual with a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain software systems across Carbon Stop Loss's business lines, including ownership of the full application lifecycle from requirements through deployment and ongoing support. They will also be involved the modernization of a core legacy platform (Microsoft Access/VBA) in collaboration with the Chief Actuary and COO, translating existing business logic into a scalable, maintainable architecture.
