Unit Notes Needing an IR RN or will consider an ICU RN with IR Experience Pre-Screens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile. LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Radiology Pre and Post Procedural area needs an RN with Pre op/PACU experience/ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS too if possible. pre op and recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia. 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday either 0700-1730 or 0730-1800 based on shift need # of Rooms 5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, US, Nuclear medicine Certs & Licensure BLS & ACLS. Cases Body IR- chemo embo, Y-90, GJ, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT biopsy, ablations, US biopsies, thoras, paras. Neuro endovascular, stroke treatment EMR Cerner Charge Nurse Yes Techs IR techs, CT, Nuclear medicine, and US techs Weekend & Holiday Requirement The occasional Saturday 1-2 per month, possible holiday requirement if needed. Scrubs Yes, supplied Tele Yes Vents Yes Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Yes IV Team VAT for PICC lines, SWAT available for difficult IV starts if needed RT 24/7 Yes Pharmacy 24/7 Yes Shifts 9hr shifts, 0730-1700 Mon Fri with a day off during the week 36hrs/wk Floor specific orientation 2 shifts Common diagnosis / Types of patients Outpatient and inpatient population, critical care, tele Additional Notes RN would not be requested to work in the neuro endovascular area, just body IR.
