Through primary care and multi-specialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments. This is a 37.5 scheduled work week, Monday-Friday with one Saturday a month schedule with a varied schedule of 8:00AM to 5:00PM hours located in 50 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. Must be willing to travel to cover at other locations within Brooklyn Medical group locations.

Preferred Criteria

• Specialty practice experience

Required Criteria

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Phlebotomy Skills
• Knowledge in Principles of infection control
• Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements
• Knowledge in Principles of delegation

Salary Range:

$38.50-$43.35/Hourly
