Geologist
Brunel
One of Brunel's major oil and gas clients is currently looking for a Wellsite Geologist based in Spring, Texas. The role would be a 1-year contract focusing on the Permian basin. The role would include W2 benefits. Description Correlate and refine target windows for horizontal well planning using subsurface interpretations, logs, and offset well data. Deliver well planning products including target maps, structure maps, cross sections, and target windows. Support drilling execution partners through pre‑spud planning and execution alignment. Identify local geologic variability and communicate execution risks and constraints. Incorporate offset well results and lessons learned to continuously improve well planning templates. Ensure execution learnings are incorporated back into development targeting decision. Certifications/Qualifications Masters in Geoscience preferred Software experience Kingdom (mandatory), Petrel (optional) Level of experience Mid-Advanced Unconventional Oil and Gas Experience (Midland Basin preferred) Experience in well planning/geologic operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
