Workship

The Workship position in Residence Halls is responsible for serving as a Resident Assistant; serving students that have needs in the residence halls; serving as a point of contact as visitors come to the residence halls to visit residents; assisting with maintaining a secure environment in the residence halls; and assisting the Community Director in the performance of his/her duties in the administration of the residence halls.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Must be a current Troy University student enrolled in at least six credit hours. Please note: Student positions are FICA/Medicare exempt only if students are enrolled in classes in the semester work is performed. To qualify for the FICA/Medicare exemption, you must be enrolled on a half-time basis for the Fall, Spring, or Summer.

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? - No

Work Hours - As needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays

List any hazardous conditions or physical demands required by this position - Ability to lift up to 20lbs to assist students with moving personal items if needed

Does this position have supervisory responsibility? - No
