Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll serve in a co-teaching role across two sites—working with grades 3-4 at the primary level and grades 7-8 at the middle school. Class sizes are kept intentionally small (less than 10 students per group), allowing for individualized support and meaningful connections. You'll collaborate with general education teachers, foster inclusive classrooms, and help students achieve their best possible outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state or out-of-state considered with eligibility).
• Experience in inclusive/co-taught environments and adapting instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to student advocacy and supporting IEP goals.
• Prior experience with elementary and/or middle school aged students is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instructional plans based on IEPs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement co-teaching strategies.
• Track and document student progress, making adjustments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families, administrators, and support staff.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
