Job Title: Echo Technologist Registered Profession: Echo Technologist Specialty: SR Duration: 14 Shift: Days M-F Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: N/A License: RCS, ARDMS Certifications: BLS Must-Have: N/A Description: Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. Includes TEE, EEG, EKGs, Stress Tests, EECP, ICG, and ambulatory monitoring. The technologist effectively operates ultrasound equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings. Explains procedures and answers questions for patients, exhibiting superior levels of customer service. Adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. On-call requirement of 6-7 days per month.
