Job Description The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and stocking the clinic. Under the medical oversight of a doctor, the MA will coordinate and manage client care, including preparing clients for treatment and exams, translation, referrals, documentation, and performing routine specialized procedures. Specialties Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry Salary Level I – up to one year experience, $20.00/hour + $1.00/hour for certified MAs Level II – 1–3 years experience, $20.00–$21.50/hour + $2.00/hour for certified MAs Level III – 3+ years experience, $26.00/hour + $2.00/hour for certified MAs Qualifications 18 years or older High School diploma and certificate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program Must complete internal credentialing and privileging within 90 days of hire date Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion Ability to provide culturally sensitive services Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records systems TB test, Hep B Vaccine, Immunization Records Must have or be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or able to be trained within 90 days of hire date Basic Life Support trained Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance or sign waiver Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Life Insurance Paid Disability Insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Employee discount Professional development assistance Referral program Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
