About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, Preferred certifications include CNMT, ARRT. Must-Have: 1. Experience with various nuclear medicine procedures. 2. Ability to manage and lead effectively. 3. Skills in drawing venous blood and maintaining IVs. Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist position available for day shift, Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional rotating call. Weekday call is scheduled from 3:30 PM to midnight, and weekend call is from 7 AM to midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. Minimum one year of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. The role involves performing a range of nuclear medicine tests, including but not limited to GFR scans, HIDA scans, and various types of perfusion scans. Candidates must have the ability to store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials safely. Skills in performing specific procedures such as bone scans, PET scans, and pharmacological stress tests are advantageous.
