Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Location: Utica, New York

Pay Rate: $60 to $62/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Evening Shift, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports a high-volume Emergency Department caring for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.


Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care for patients across all age groups
• Assess, monitor, and respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, stroke, and sepsis cases
• Administer critical drips and medications including pressors, sedatives, anti-arrhythmics, TNK, heparin, and insulin
• Use specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed
• Document care accurately using EPIC and float as required


Requirements
• active new york registered nurse license required
• minimum 3 years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience required
• current aha bls, acls, pals, nihss, and tncc required
• epic experience and previous travel experience required
• updated resume, skills checklist, driver's license, nursys report, and rto required at submission
