5th Grade Teacher

Description
The School District of Brown Deer seeks a 5th-grade full-time elementary educator licensed by the State of Wisconsin. The successful candidate will have training and/or related experience in Reading and Writing Workshops, Math Workshops, and Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Knowledge and experience or interest in Character Education, implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Professional Learning Communities (PLC), working with diverse students and working with primary students. The successful candidate will have an understanding and ability to demonstrate data analysis of student work, use assessment data to guide instruction, and communicate effectively with students, peers, and families. We ensure high expectations for teaching and learning in the Brown Deer School District with a continued focus on excellence in academic achievement for all our students.
