Resident Engineer - AC Substations

Serving as the primary technical partner and on-site representative for a Utility Customer, the full-time Resident Engineer - AC Substations will manage the long-term reliability and maintenance strategy of AC Substation installations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Act as the primary on-call technical point of contact for emergency response and troubleshooting of critical system failures Provide expert technical support for Substation Control and Protection systems, including SCADA communication architectures Assist in developing comprehensive operating and maintenance procedures and ensure effective execution of scheduled maintenance work Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline 5 years of experience supervising high-voltage substations Minimum of 5 years of proven field experience Availability for work on project sites in the U.S
