Nurse Manager Behavioral ServicesThe Behavioral Services Unit Manager is directly responsible for the day to day operations of the behavioral services units. They provide supervision and support for nursing and ancillary services and display advanced clinical skill sets to act as a role model and resource for behavioral services personnel.Roles and Responsibilities:Accomplish nurse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, educating, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicating job expectations, adhere to policies and procedures.Fosters an environment that promotes a spirit of inquiry and continuous quality improvement. Assists in the design and implementation of programs which evaluate the efficacy of treatment.Monitor and assure the compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.Promote, monitor and implement the concepts of quality management and evidence based practice.
