Are you an experienced dental front-office professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have strong knowledge of specialty scheduling, dental insurance, and patient coordination ? Wave Dental Specialists is a busy, growing multi-specialty dental practice in Dearborn Heights, MI. We are looking for a confident, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team and help create an exceptional experience from the moment patients walk through our doors. If you’re someone who can balance excellent customer service with attention to detail—and knows how to keep a busy specialty schedule running smoothly,we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience at check-in and check-out Coordinate appointments and treatment schedules across multiple specialties, including Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, and more Manage referrals and coordinate care between referring offices, specialists, and patients Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with pre-authorizations and treatment estimates Submit and follow up on insurance claims and outstanding balances Collect patient payments accurately and professionally Maintain accurate patient records, insurance information, and appointment documentation Communicate closely with clinical teams to ensure schedules stay organized and efficient Help patients navigate their specialty treatment experience from referral through completion What We’re Looking For 2+ years of dental front-office experience required Multi-specialty or specialty dental experience required Strong understanding of dental insurance, verification, billing, and claims Experience with PPO and Medicaid insurance is a plus Open Dental experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Why Join Wave Dental Specialists?
