Position Details:
CT Technologist - Viroqua, WI
Location : Viroqua, WI 54665
Duration : 13 Weeks contract
Salary Range : $60 - $65/hr
Shift Timing : Monday - Thursday 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography examinations to obtain high-quality diagnostic images used in the evaluation and treatment of patients. The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, positioning, CT equipment operation, contrast administration when applicable, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety and patient care standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients before and during procedures.
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in EMR/RIS/PACS systems.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and report equipment issues promptly.
• Assist with emergency, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient CT examinations as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program.
• Wisconsin State certification a plus.
• CT & radiology certified.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Siemens CT experience a plus
