WEEKEND CAREGIVER (FRIDAY-SUNDAY)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Caregiver, you are the face of our organization and play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Responsibilities may include: Personal Care & Client Support Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene Assistance with eating and daily living activities Ambulation, mobility assistance, and walking support Assisting clients to and from bed Monitoring and supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia Household Support Light housekeeping Laundry and linen changes Meal planning and meal preparation Household organization and management Apparel selection and dressing assistance Companionship & Engagement Meaningful conversation and companionship Emotional support and encouragement Promoting engagement, independence, and quality of life Transportation & Community Support Transportation using the client's vehicle Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments Medication Support Medication reminders in accordance with company policies Overnight, Sleepover & Live-In Assignments (When Applicable) Preparing sleeping areas Assisting clients during the night as needed Reporting frequent overnight care needs to the office

DOCUMENTATION & COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES

Document services and activities within company software systems as required Maintain accurate timekeeping and service documentation Submit all required records by established deadlines Immediately report significant client changes or concerns to the office Follow all company policies, procedures, training requirements, and care plans

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older Authorized to work in the United States Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations Reliable transportation available during assignments Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level Ability to successfully complete required training and skills assessments Ability to complete all required health screenings Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment Proof of First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of employment Preferred Qualifications One or more years of caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience CNA certification, nursing education, healthcare coursework, or similar experience preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to: Safely assist clients with mobility and transfers Assist clients in and out of vehicles Lift and transport mobility equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs weighing up to 50 pounds Frequently bend, reach, walk, stand, and perform light housekeeping tasks Sit, drive, and travel between client locations Climb stairs as required by client homes Maintain adequate vision with or without corrective lenses
