Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Quality Assurance for our client. Responsibilities include reading blueprints to verify part accuracy, inspecting components throughout production, and documenting results while reporting any non-conformances. You’ll collaborate with fabricators and QA/QC teams to resolve issues and operate equipment like shears or punches when inspection volume is low.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Read and interpret blueprints to verify the accuracy of fabricated parts.
• Inspect parts and components throughout the fabrication process to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and report any discrepancies or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with fabricators and the QA/QC team to address and resolve issues.
• Operate machinery such as shears and punches when inspection workload is low.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support production and quality goals.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Previous experience operating a shear and/or punch machine is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexible and willing to take on varied responsibilities based on workflow.
• Basic knowledge of QA/QC processes in a fabrication setting.
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
