ObGyn physician employment in New York :

A healthcare organization in Westchester County is seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to provide hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage in a high-acuity, well-supported clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: 14 to 15 shifts per month
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Setting: Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for unassigned patients who present to labor and delivery or obstetrical consultations from the emergency department
• Provide triage and OB emergency department services
• Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and related obstetrical procedures as needed
• Support private practice obstetrical providers in emergency situations and coordinated care
• Serve as a Surgical Assistant for private obstetrical providers

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Active or eligible for New York State medical licensure
• Completion of an OB/GYN residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of OB/GYN experience

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
