Technologist Assistant

Position Summary:The Technologist Assistant supports imaging technologists in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role ensures smooth workflow by preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and assisting with administrative and clinical tasks to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Patient Preparation:Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner.Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation.Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process.Technologist Support:Assist technologists during imaging procedures as needed.Handle and transport imaging equipment and accessories safely.Monitor and maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms.Administrative Duties:Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.Enter and update patient information in the imaging system.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company privacy standards.Equipment & Safety:Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.Maintain stock of supplies and prepare rooms for procedures.Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in healthcare preferred).Previous experience in a healthcare or imaging environment is a plus.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
