Financial Services Representative

Immediate need for a talented Financial Services Representative. This is a six-month contract (possible extension) opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Troy, NY (Hybrid). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives and responds to incoming customer/agent/employer inquiries.
• Communicates with customers, field staff, service centers, internal/external sales support, and other industry companies through oral and written communication.
• Maintains current knowledge of contract and product provisions and administration of the Plan, and the processing systems related.
• Resolves routine errors requiring corrective processing.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify situations that require advanced technical knowledge or exception processing and refers the situation to a supervisor.
• Reviews, research, and interprets records and reports to accurately make decisions.
• Decision making skill necessary for customer contacts.
• Ability to identify and evaluate problems, analyze customer inquiries, and determines appropriate action.
• Performs other duties as requested.
• 75hrs/day: 38.75hrs/week

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have associate or bachelor's degree.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Time management skills
• Basic typing and computer skills
• Background in customer service, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and written communications
• The ability to work within a team and independently.
• High attention to detail.
