ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities Receive, sort, correct and reconcile a variety of accounting documents such as invoices, payment vouchers and billings. Post data to appropriate accounts, review and code financial information, disburse funds and make deposits. Typical schedule is 37.5 hours/week; however additional hours may be required but varies per workload demands. Must attend continuing education courses as appropriate. Ability to communicate with the public, other county employees and vendors. Qualifications High school diploma and completion of one to two years post-secondary training in accounting or business or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license. Word processing and spreadsheet competency required. Willingness to learn additional software as needed for the position is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
