Director, Finance and Operations

Partners closely with the Vice President to provide strategic leadership for all financial and business operations. Responsible for integrated financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across operating and capital portfolios. Leads the division’s finance and business operations team, overseeing accounting, budgeting, procurement, contracts, accounts payable, payroll and timekeeping, job cost accounting, inventory, and business analytics in a 24/7 environment. Assists with projecting, allocating and adjusting staffing levels and organizational structure to meet changing conditions. Assists in development of policies and procedures that impact all areas of operations for Facilities and Campus Development or that may impact the University Community as customers of Facilities and Campus Development. Makes presentations to university departments and other outside constituents on related topics. Provides data‑driven decision support to the Vice President and senior leadership, ensures effective internal controls and compliance, and represents Facilities and Campus Development with campus partners and external vendors.
