This on‑call position requires the ability to step into a classroom and ensure the smooth delivery of the day’s lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Responsibilities Follow and implement lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher Maintain classroom management, ensuring a positive and nurturing learning environment Supervise students in the classroom and other school areas as needed Keep the classroom orderly and clean during coverage For long‑term assignments, develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with school goals and curriculum Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a seamless educational experience Uphold the school’s values, promoting respect, dignity, and responsibility in all interactions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred Prior experience in a classroom setting, especially with elementary and middle school students, highly desirable Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail Strong organizational skills and punctuality Flexibility and adaptability to manage diverse classroom situations Strong verbal and written communication skills Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude Ability to maintain discipline and a structured learning environment Cooperative, team‑oriented, and strong interpersonal skills Disability Accommodations To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
