Job Description
Department: CVOR Tech
*Certifications Required: BLS, CST or NCCT, ND state lic*

- # of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite, 2 CVOR Suites
- Common Cases: ION robotic cases, Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Davinci XI Robot, Stryker towers
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST have open heart experience & must be willing to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume
- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge nurse
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0645-1515; 0900-1730; 1500-2330, 0700-1930 (weekend only). CV team lead will make schedule
- Weeknight/Call Requirements: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
- Weekend/Call Requirements: Every other to every third, Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645
- Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays
- What is call response time?: 15 minutes
