Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that encourage peers to share experiences, support each other, and promote collective healing.

Provide personalized individual therapy focused on understanding clients' unique challenges, fostering collaboration towards setting goals, and developing action plans.

Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific mental health needs and preferences.

Monitor progress through assessments and feedback, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to enhance client outcomes.

Work in coordination with a multidisciplinary team, regularly communicating to discuss complex cases and collaboratively strategizing interventions.

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, a demographic often navigating significant life transitions and higher mental health vulnerability. As you guide them through outpatient programming, you’ll empower them to develop critical life skills and coping mechanisms. Your role is crucial in helping them to process their experiences and fostering resilience through holistic treatment approaches.

A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on compassion and empathy.

At least one year of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly with teens and young adults.

Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT or DBT, and willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
