Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking an entry level Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire electrical project lifecycle, from concept to completion, Perform Electrical load calculations, design electrical power distribution systems, and ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Duties: Perform electrical load calculations, design electrical power distribution systems, develop and maintain a master schedule of all work associated with the electrical discipline of projects and manage the Electrical General Contractor and sub-contractor deadlines. Maintain the highest standard of integrity, ethics, and compliance. Foster a mindset of learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking. Proficient English written/spoken required. Solid problem-solving skills. Maintain clear communication between all parties with regular updates. Monitor and evaluate progress and performance and prepare weekly summaries. Collaborate with engineers, sub-contractors, site managers, et al. Manage costs in order to meet budget. Create and manage construction schedule and activities. Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors. Submit proposals for approval and creation of purchase orders. Maintain health and safety standards. Travel to jobsites required for supervision, both extended and short-term travel required. Experience: 1-3 years’ working experience in electrical project management, design or construction management, facility management, engineering or architecture, or a related field. Comfortable reading and understanding AES and drawings and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software and ACAD a plus.
