As a Surgical Technologist in our ASC facility, you will assist the surgeon and nursing staff in providing professional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgical procedures. Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity to expand surgical skills in a specialized setting Stable, growing organization with career advancement opportunities What You’ll Do As a key member of the surgical team, you will support safe and efficient surgical procedures by: Preparing and organizing the operating room for procedures Maintaining a sterile field throughout all cases Anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments efficiently Performing surgical counts in accordance with policy Assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and sterilization processes Supporting turnover between cases to maintain workflow efficiency Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff What You Bring We’re looking for a detail-oriented, team-focused professional who thrives in a surgical environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA guidelines): Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing. Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs from shoulder to overhead.
