PACKAGING OPERATIONS OPERATORS

Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Interview: On-site interviews
Assignment: Possible extension based on business need in December

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products. Performs finished product packaging according to established procedures and Quality specifications while maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation and supporting a safe, compliant work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
Package finished products according to procedures, Quality specifications, and customer, internal, and clinical requirements.
Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality.
Identify and remove defective products and packaging materials.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing and packaging activities, including Device History Records and inventory counts.
Perform basic mathematical calculations required to complete batch records.
Assist with inventory counting activities as needed.
Participate in safety audits and engage in daily safety discussions and observations.
Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment.
Follow all personal protective equipment and product contamination-control requirements, including gowning procedures.
Handle hazardous waste appropriately and according to established procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality requirements.
Follow established procedures and Good Documentation Practices at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good documentation practices.
Familiarity with computers and general business software.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required.
Ability to follow PPE, gowning, contamination-control, safety, and quality requirements.
