Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in an intensive care environment. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Job Details Position Description: NICU RN responsible for caring for neonates, infants, and pediatrics with diagnoses such as prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS. Experience with trach/vent management is essential. Certifications: BLS, CPI; ACLS preferred. Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact RN license, CPI certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience with pediatric populations, 2 years of NICU experience, and at least 1 year of travel experience where applicable. Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Unit Details: Patient census approximately 32 daily; common diagnoses include prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS. Additional Responsibilities: Ability to float within scope, adherence to standard safety protocols, and compliance with onboarding requirements.
