Senior HR Consultant - Labor Relations & Employee

DescriptionKforce's client, one of our largest enterprise health care companies, is seeking a Human Resources Consultant to support facilities throughout the Woodland Hills, CA Service Area. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite and offers the opportunity to partner with leaders and employees on a broad range of human resources initiatives that support organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.Summary:The Human Resources Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to management and staff, providing guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, leadership development, organizational change, performance management, and HR policy interpretation. This role combines strategic consultation with hands-on execution, helping leaders navigate complex people-related decisions while supporting business objectives.This position is well suited for an HR professional who enjoys collaborating with leaders, solving complex workplace challenges, and delivering practical HR solutions that drive positive business outcomes.Responsibilities include:* Partnering with leaders on employee relations, retention, staffing, compensation, organizational design, and workforce planning* Conducting workplace investigations and maintaining thorough documentation* Coaching managers and employees to strengthen leadership, performance, and team effectiveness* Supporting organizational change initiatives and HR strategic roadmap activities* Facilitating training, team development, and problem-solving sessions* Interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations* Advising stakeholders on short and long-term organizational and talent decisions* Promoting effective performance management and employee development practicesRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience* 3+ years of experience supporting employee relations in a complex organization* 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience* Experience conducting workplace investigations and documenting findings* Experience working with labor unions and unionized work environments* Strong knowledge of California labor and employment laws* Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and consulting skills* Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and relationship-building abilities* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build partnerships across all levels of an organization* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated expertise in several of the following areas:* Employee and Labor Relations* Workplace Investigations* Change Management* Organizational Design* Leadership Development* Talent Development* Compensation Practices* Employment Law and Regulatory CompliancePreferred:* Graduate-level coursework in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field* SPHR certification strongly preferred* Experience supporting large, matrixed organizationsTop Skills for Success:* Employee Relations & Workplace Investigations* Labor Relations & California Employment Law* Leadership Coaching & Strategic HR ConsultingJob TypeContractCompensation40 - $46
