Competitive Pay & Benefits: Average Pay: $1,847 per week ($96,054/year) Start at: 66 cpm Unloading Pay: $0.185 per case, averaging $555/week Retail Route Incentive: $15 for return totes per retail route (totes hold small merchandise) Company sponsored per diem program Home Weekly Dispatches Sunday afternoon through Monday noon Sundays dispatch drivers return home on Friday, Monday dispatch drivers return Friday evening or Saturday morning Route Details Pick up pre-loaded trailers in Lebanon, TN, and deliver merchandise (not food) to Cracker Barrel stores in 24 states: AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV Average 1,960 miles per week Drivers typically run 2 routes per week Runs vary throughout the week Merchandise is separated by a bulkhead for easy unloading (freight isn't mixed together) Drivers will unload using a ramp and two-wheel freight into the customer's storeroom (most stops take 1+ hours) Training & Support New drivers will ride with a dedicated Averitt driver for the first week to learn the customer's processes and procedures.
