Material Handler

Location: Saline, MI Pay: Up to $20.50 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

Are you an experienced material handler looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Saline, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting production and warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, and delivering materials where they are needed.

As a Material Handler, your core responsibilities will include:

• Material Handling: Put away raw materials and finished goods while maintaining an organized warehouse.
• Production Support: Pick raw materials for production and provide flexibility to help production meet daily targets and changing schedule needs.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick finished goods for customer orders and ensure materials are available when needed.

In addition, you will receive incoming raw materials, respond to rush orders, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and perform other material handling duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating a Hilo/forklift is required.
• Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down Hilo trucks.
• Previous experience using handheld scanners.

Skills:

• Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the production and warehouse teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adjust schedules and priorities to support production and rush orders.
• Organization: Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
