Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) - Pediatrics
We are hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA/OTA) to join pediatric outpatient clinics across Virginia. This is an in-person opportunity working with pediatric patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling based on clinic needs and candidate availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist pediatric patients with functional, developmental, and daily living skills.
- Implement individualized treatment activities and therapy programs.
- Monitor and document patient responses and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising OT and care team.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Create a positive and engaging therapeutic environment for pediatric patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Virginia OTA license.
- Current COTA certification required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- TB test required.
