Neurological Surgery, PRN Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About this role:

As a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This is a hospital-based position that offers flexible support to a busy Neurosurgery group based at Utah Valley Hospital.

In this role you can anticipate:

• Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah
• PRN coverage to support 4 full-time, hospital-based APPs
• 12-hour shifts - 6:30a-6:30p, including weekends and holidays
• Emergency department and inpatient consults, inpatient rounding; inpatient work only
• No call requirement
• Minimum 3-shifts per quarter (if shifts are available)

An ideal candidate for this role will have prior APP Neurosurgery experience, or experience working inpatient and/or in the OR as an APP.

What youll bring:

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
