Coating Operator

Coating Operator – Night Shift 6 We are seeking a reliable Coating Operator to work in our automated coating line for vitamin products. The role involves operating equipment, managing coating solutions, and ensuring finished products meet our standards. Responsibilities Identify and locate coating ingredients and transport them to the mixer. Prepare coating solutions and load tablets into the coating machine. Calibrate equipment controls for volume, atomization, pan speed, and temperature. Monitor the coating process to ensure proper coating of product. Apply the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for charge and yield. Unload, subdivide, weigh, and reconcile finished product to within 97%-101% of loaded product. Complete and maintain batch records, labels, and logs. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment for next batch. Maintain a sanitary coating operation by cleaning areas regularly. Perform all duties in compliance with safety rules, SOPs, and GMP. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years work experience or equivalent. Forklift certification required within six months of starting. Minimum 3 months manufacturing experience, preferably as a production machine operator or utility worker. Complete working knowledge of coating operation from solution preparation to equipment operation is preferred. Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and adjust equipment. English communication skills for written logs and batch records. Ability to read operating instructions and safety regulations. Physical & Safety Requirements Stand and walk for the entire shift. Perform repetitive tasks for long periods. Lift, carry, and move containers regularly. Safely operate lift truck, pallet jack, and forklift in congested areas. Work in an environment with noise, fumes, vibration, dust; hearing protection, dust mask, safety shoes, gloves, and back support required. Benefits The salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $74,000.00. Compensation is based on experience, location, and qualifications.
