Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

The Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic role is a full-time, permanent position responsible for maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related mechanical systems on medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional mechanical or shop duties as needed to support the team

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a diesel or heavy-duty mechanic
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to pass random drug tests
• ASE certification and high school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Compensation

$25–$35 per hour , based on experience. Weekly pay.
Overnight Shift Options available as well.
