DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately builds orders with other team members, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Organizes items on a pallet based on type of product to ensure stability.
• Obtains merchandise from shelves to stack on pallets with use of material handling equipment (forklift or electric pallet jack).
• Transports orders to wrapping or shipping locations with material handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.
• Sorts and stores partial cases of product returned on route trucks.

PAY

Starting pay of $19.55 per hour, with quarterly pay-for-performance opportunities to earn up to $22.81/hr

HOURS

Full-time with benefits, Monday - Friday, 11:00am-8pm (end time varies pending work load)

Work requires handling/lifting of product from floor level to above shoulder height or reverse. Lifting is frequent and may be up to 50lbs. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Experience

General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, and reading. 0 – 2 years related experience and/or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, general policies, instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to verbally communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Manual Dexterity: Work requires a few simple but rapid hand operations. Requires operation of material handling equipment. Working with hands to Seize, hold, grasp, turn, and/or lift. Fingers are involved with by picking, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers primarily (rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling).

Physical Effort: Work requires handling/lifting of product or empty pallets from floor level to above shoulder height or reverse. Lifting may be up to 65lbs.
