Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers Description: Delivery drivers deliver pizzas and other food orders. For delivery customers, the driver may be their only contact with and impression of Jet’s Pizza®. The delivery driver delivers products on an established route, collects money from customers, and makes change. Characteristics/Qualifications: (i) Must be at least 18 years old.

• ii) Excellent driving record.
• iii) Valid driver’s license. Some states require a chauffeur’s license.
• iv) Car registration up-to-date.
• v) Proof of car insurance (make sure current at all times). Check to make sure it covers business use of auto.
• vi) Reasoning ability.
• vii) Mathematical ability.
• viii) Language ability.
• ix) Communication and interpersonal ability.

Responsibilities: (i) Drives vehicle to deliver pizza and other product to customer’s home or place of business.

• ii) Collects money from customer, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
• iii) Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
• iv) Checks order accuracy.
• v) Checks product quality and price.
• vi) Checks delivery customer’s address and location.
• vii) Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• viii) Assists the other employees when periods are slow and other duties can be assigned.
• ix) Have a clean car always (inside and out).
