Middle School Special Education Teacher

Job Summary (List Format): Middle School Special Education Teacher (Life Skills Program)
- Full-time position (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026-2027 school year
- Responsible for teaching approximately 12 middle school students in a life skills program
- Student population includes a combination of behavioral challenges and low academic skills
- Supported by 4 instructional assistants in the classroom
- Pay rate: $58-62/hour (W-2), based on experience
- Experience required in special education settings (resource, self-contained, 1:1, externalizing behaviors)
- Must have experience with IEPs, lesson planning, faculty/parent collaboration, and strong student connection
- Licensing requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education with a focus on special education
- Completion of an approved preparation program
- Oregon TSPC teaching license with special education endorsement
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
