Chicago Dental Implant Oral & Facial Surgery (CDI Oral & Facial Surgery) Location: Joliet, IL Position Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $22 - $30 per hour Join a Team That Changes Lives Every Day CDI Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing team. We specialize in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures in a modern, technology-driven environment. Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Occasional Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Responsibilities Assist the oral surgeon during procedures including: Dental implant placement Surgical extractions Wisdom teeth removal Bone grafting procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment Review and update patient medical histories and records Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans Monitor and support patients before, during, and after treatment Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Maintain OSHA, infection control, and sterilization standards Sterilize instruments and restock operatories Support efficient daily clinical operations and outstanding patient care Travel between all four practice locations: Joliet Plainfield Orland Park Downers Grove Qualifications Oral surgery experience preferred, but willing to train an exceptional candidate Current Dental Assistant certification (where applicable) Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work calmly and professionally with surgical patients Experience monitoring IV sedation is a plus Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations We believe in taking care of our team as well as our patients.
