Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS TNCC ENPC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in trauma management Familiarity with stroke protocols Knowledge in STEMI response Understanding of sepsis treatments Experience with moderate sedation Description: Backfill position in an Emergency Department. The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services across multiple states. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Additional services offered include a childbirth center, cancer center, and pediatric unit. The hospital has a strong focus on patient care and advanced technology. It features state-of-the-art operating suites. The facility offers extensive imaging and lab testing services. The Emergency Department has 48 beds with flexible space. It operates on a team nursing model with designated roles for social workers and educators. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in fast track. Popular common diagnoses include ESRD, substance abuse disorders, and psychological disorders. The department is equipped with advanced medical technology including defibrillators and blood warmers. The patient population includes adults and children across various medical issues.
