WHO WE ARE:

EVENT LOGISTICS DRIVER  (CDL A OR B)

Distressed Rentals is one of the Gulf South's premier event furniture rental companies. We provide high-end furniture, bars, shelving, lounges, décor, and custom pieces for weddings, galas, corporate events, conventions, and festivals throughout the New Orleans region.

This is NOT a traditional trucking job.

Our drivers are part of the delivery team. They help load and unload trucks, lead crews on-site, interact with clients and planners, and help create incredible events. If you're looking for a position where you sit in a truck all day making deliveries, this is not the right fit. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely operate large box trucks throughout the Greater New Orleans area
• Deliver and pick up event furniture and equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing inventory
• Lead and support delivery crews on-site
• Help maintain an organized, professional warehouse
• Work closely with teammates to execute successful events
• Represent the company professionally with clients and venues

REQUIREMENTS

• CDL A or CDL B preferred
• Clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate large commercial vehicles in urban environments
• Ability to lift and move furniture with a team
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
