CT/Radiology Technologist

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour day shifts, with some shared call responsibilities.

Job Description

The CT/Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in compliance with applicable protocols and standards. The technologist must ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations while working collaboratively with medical staff to provide optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures, including CT scans and fluoroscopy, while ensuring the highest quality of images.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and proficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical team regarding procedures and patient care.
• Document patient information, including history and examination details, accurately.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active certification as a CT/Radiology Technologist.
• Fluoroscopy certificate is desirable.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months prior to contract start date.
