Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of diesel-powered, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment. This position offers hands-on work, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documents.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software, including CAT ET and CAT SIS.
• Inspect, test, and verify equipment performance.
• Install and replace parts and components as needed.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation.
• Operate lifting devices and shop equipment safely.
• Maintain a safe work environment and provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel or heavy equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Primarily works indoors in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Regular standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and computers.
• PPE required.
• Overtime, weekends, shifts, and on-call work may be required.
